Turn 10 of 19
They try to figure it out together. Jess walks back and forth in the heels to show him; the sway and posture are pure ghetto girl while she panics. “I can’t stop walking like this!” Taylor tells her to sit down, but even sitting she crosses her legs and tilts her hips without noticing.
Taylor stared, still frozen in the doorway, as Jess turned back to him.
"It happened fast," she said, her voice thick with panic, "one day I was just... me. And now..." She gestured helplessly at her new curves in the tight snakeskin skirt.
"It's these clothes, I think. Something about them. They won't come off, not all the way."
She walked back and forth across the small room in the red stilettos to show him, her hips swaying in that instinctive, impossible rhythm.
"See? I can't stop walking like this. It's like my body just... knows how to move now. And I don't know how to make it stop!"
"Okay, okay," Taylor said, holding up his hands. "Sit down. Just... sit down for a second."
Jess sank onto the edge of the bed, the cheap mattress sagging under her new weight. But even sitting, her body betrayed her—she crossed her legs slowly, deliberately, one stiletto-clad foot swinging slightly. Her back arched without her thinking about it. Her tilting hips seemed to pull attention to the round curve of her ass against the stained comforter.
"What... the fuck... is happening to me?" she whispered, staring down at her thick brown hands, her long red nails. Her voice shook, but the words came out slow, deliberate, almost... seductive.
"I don't feel like me anymore, Taylor. I don't know what's happening."
Taylor swallowed hard, his eyes traveling over her new curves, lingering on the way the thin red top stretched over her heavy breasts.
"I... I don't know either, Jess. But this..." he gestured at her, at the way she sat, the way she moved, the thick dark skin and full lips that had replaced the shy pale girl he knew.
"This isn't you. This can't be real."
But Jess just looked at him, and then back at her own reflection in the mirror across the room. And in her eyes was a spark of something else, something beneath the fear—something hungry, and warm, and undeniable.
