Turn 15 of 28
Order more food and drink while scrolling and take another photo showing off more of the mess. Figure out how to get money from the site and start the process.
Lena opens the delivery app with one hand while the other scrolls through the site feed with the laptop touchpad. She adds two large meat lover's pizzas, a family-sized order of loaded nachos, a bucket of fried chicken, a chocolate molten cake, a bottle of whiskey, and two more bottles of red wine. The total barely registers. She hits confirm and drops the phone onto the cushion beside her, then tilts the laptop screen toward her again. The second post — the long description of the wish, the transformation, the week of deliberate squalor — has forty-three views now and three comments. The first reads "this is incredible. please keep posting." The second is from a user called feedmore: "your body is exactly what i want to watch grow. how much have you gained?" The third is a single word: "more." Lena reads each comment twice and the warmth pulses through her, low and insistent.
She picks up the laptop and angles it, framing the shot wider this time. The couch fills the frame — her naked body front and center, belly heavy and round, thighs spread wide, but also the context around her: the stack of empty containers teetering on the armrest, the soaked blanket bunched beneath her, the wine bottles rolling on the floor, the grease stains on the cushion. She takes the photo and posts it with the caption "the full picture. this is my life now." The image uploads and she watches the view count begin to climb almost immediately.
She scrolls deeper into the site, past the main feed, and finds a section labeled "Creator Portal." She clicks through. The site supports paid subscriptions — users can subscribe to individual creators for monthly fees, unlock exclusive content, and tip directly. There's a verification process that requires a photo holding a handwritten code, which she completes in thirty seconds, her belly visible in the shot, the code scrawled on a pizza box. She fills out the payment routing form with her bank information and sets a subscription price of fifteen dollars per month for access to her full feed. She uploads the verification photo and the system tells her approval takes twenty-four to forty-eight hours.
The food arrives in three bags that the delivery driver leaves at the door without knocking. Lena carries everything to the couch in two heavy trips, her belly swaying, her thighs brushing together with each step. She tears into the pizza before she's even sat down fully, cheese burning the roof of her mouth, and washes it down with a long pull of whiskey straight from the bottle. A belch rolls out of her — deep and resonant — and she presses her stomach forward to extend it, eyes closing. The warmth spreads through her hips. She opens the laptop again and sees her new photo has sixty-one views and two new comments. One reads: "this is what i've been looking for. subscribe me when you're verified." Lena smiles, grease running down her chin, and reaches for the second pizza.
