Turn 5 of 16

Outside, Jess and Leo try to make sense of what’s happening. Jess struggles to adjust to her unfamiliar, exaggerated new body.

Jess stood on the sidewalk just outside the restaurant, the cool night breeze tugging at her voluminous platinum waves and doing nothing to ease the flush of deep shame burning beneath her tanned skin. Her surgically enhanced body felt like a stranger's, the heavy breast implants pulling her forward in a way that made her spine arch involuntarily while the dramatic BBL shifted her weight onto newly pronounced hips with every small adjustment. She kept tugging at the hem of her black dress, which now rode higher and clung tighter thanks to her cinched waist and expanded curves, her long crimson nails catching on the fabric and forcing her to move with exaggerated care. The refined nose and plump filler lips altered every breath and swallow, making her feel constantly on display even in the relative quiet of the street. Leo hovered close, his eyes wide with lingering alarm as he scanned her transformed face under the glow of the streetlamps.

Leo ran a hand through his hair, clearly struggling to process the rapid changes that had overtaken her in mere minutes. He glanced back at the restaurant door as if half-expecting the platinum blonde to follow them out, then turned to Jess with a mix of confusion and concern that only deepened her embarrassment. The city night hummed around them with passing cars and distant laughter from other patrons, but it all felt distant compared to the panic still clawing at Jess's chest. She tried to stand normally, yet her posture refused to slump as it once had, the curse holding her shoulders back and her chin tilted in a confident angle that clashed with her inner turmoil. Every shift of her enhanced figure sent unfamiliar sensations rippling through her, the weight and bounce reminding her relentlessly of how far she had already strayed from her modest self.

"This can't be real," Jess said, her voice emerging softer and slightly breathier than before, the plump lips shaping the words into something almost sultry despite her desperate tone. "I was fine, and then that woman... she looked at me after I rolled my eyes, and she whispered something. My nails changed first, then everything else. I tried to fight it in the bathroom, Leo, but it just kept happening."

He stepped closer, reaching out tentatively before letting his hand drop, his expression a battlefield of worry and disbelief. The refined contours of Jess's new face caught the light in ways that made her look like an entirely different person, and she could see him searching for any trace of the woman he knew. Shame twisted tighter in her stomach as she imagined how grotesque she must seem to him now, all plastic perfection and loud glamour where subtlety once reigned. Yet beneath the panic, a tiny unwelcome spark of satisfaction flickered at how her body commanded the space around her, and she shoved it down hard with a mental effort that left her trembling.

Jess adjusted her stance again, trying to balance the dramatic curves that refused to feel natural no matter how she positioned herself, her thick fake lashes blinking rapidly against the cool air. She wanted to scream or run or find some way to reverse the curse before it claimed more of her, but the lingering warmth in her core suggested the transformation was nowhere near finished. Leo nodded slowly, his alarm not fading as he processed her words, and together they lingered on the sidewalk, the night stretching out with uncertain threats of what might come next in this slow unraveling of her old life.
