A couple finds an old magical board game in a rented cabin. Once the first piece is moved, the game locks both players in and begins transforming their bodies, minds, and relationship with every square.

How it opens
Rain taps against the windows of the cabin. In the attic you find a beautiful wooden board game with a single line carved on the lid: “Play to the end.” You move one piece as a joke. The board glows. Your partner’s clothes tighten. Your own reflection softens. A calm voice rises from the game: “Players locked. Reach the final square or remain changed forever.”
Setting
Isolated luxury cabin in the woods.
A branch can end when
- The board is completed and both players are permanently transformed.
- The couple finds a hidden way to break the game.
- One player finishes the board alone and decides the fate of the other.
