Taller than the skyline
After a late-night wish to “finally feel bigger than everyone else,” a woman begins growing without limit. Clothes tear, furniture breaks, and the world shrinks beneath her as both her body and her sense of dominance expand. The taller she becomes, the less she wants to stop.
Play as

A sharp-tongued, perpetually ignored insurance adjuster who wished to feel bigger than everyone else — and got exactly that. The growth hasn't stopped, and neither has her growing taste for it.
How it opens
The ceiling wakes you before the alarm does — a dry crack, then a rain of plaster across the bed. You sit up and your shoulders hit the headboard, and the headboard gives way like balsa wood. Your feet have shoved through the foot of the bed. Your nightgown splits down the back with a sound like torn paper.
You stand, and the floor protests, and you have to duck under the ceiling fan, which grazes your hair. The apartment that took you ten years to afford is a dollhouse now: the doorframes at your ribs, the kitchen counters at your knees, the window you used to look out of now barely reaching your chest. Through the glass, the dawn city spreads out below — and you are looking *down* at rooftops you used to look up at.
Somewhere below, a car alarm is screaming. Your phone buzzes on the nightstand, absurdly small in your hand: dozens of missed calls, a news alert already trending, and a text from Dev that just says *MARA. WHAT IS HAPPENING UP THERE.* The walls groan as your body, still warm and tingling, adds another inch.
Setting
A present-day city of glass and rain. Mara Voss, a thirty-four-year-old insurance adjuster used to being overlooked, makes a half-joking wish at 2 a.m. — and wakes to find her apartment too small and her body still growing. The city has no protocol for a woman who doubles in height by lunchtime, and the authorities are scrambling while she discovers that every inch brings a new appetite for space, attention, and control.
A branch can end when
- Mara stops growing by choice and must decide what size to live as
- The authorities subdue or contain her, ending the growth
- She grows beyond the point where the human world can hold her at all
