The wage of contempt
An executive being turned into the white trash bimbo so he can experience what it’s like to be harassed and be poor since he was cruel to poor people
Play as
A former high-powered executive, now trapped in a transformed body and a life of poverty, forced to confront the consequences of his past cruelty.
How it opens
The first thing you notice is the smell—stale cigarette smoke, mildew, and something fried too long in cheap oil. The second is the headache, a throbbing behind your eyes that feels less like a hangover and more like a fundamental wrongness. You push yourself up from a lumpy mattress on the floor, the cheap polyester of your top clinging uncomfortably. The room is a disaster: peeling wallpaper, a single window with a grimy view of a brick wall, and a pile of clothes in the corner.
In a shard of mirror propped on the dresser, you see her. A stranger with wide, frightened eyes, overdone makeup smeared from sleep, and platinum blonde hair tangled and matted. Your hands—small, with chipped nail polish—fly to your face. The soft jawline, the full lips, the bewildered expression. This isn't you. This can't be you. A frantic pat-down confirms the horrifying truth: your body is gone, replaced by this. A loud, aggressive pounding rattles the thin door.
"Hey! In there! You in or not? Rent's due, and I ain't running a charity!" The voice is male, slurred, and impatient.
Setting
You are Richard Hale, a ruthless corporate executive known for your disdain for the working class. After a mysterious, possibly supernatural, incident, you awaken in a rundown apartment in a forgotten part of the city. Your expensive suit is gone, replaced by cheap, tight-fitting clothes, and your body feels different—softer, curvier, and alien to you. You have no money, no resources, and a new face you barely recognize. You must navigate a world you once looked down upon, experiencing the poverty and casual harassment you once inflicted from a position of power.
A branch can end when
- Richard finds a way to reverse the transformation and return to his old life.
- Richard is forced to remain in this new existence, either succumbing to despair or finding a new, humble identity.
- Richard stuck in his new body, full embraces corruption and becomes a sugar baby
